Today we present the bianchi M 1928.
The restoration was challenging as over the years, the bike was made a women’s bike, but under the skirt this object hid the most extreme road racing evolution of the Bianchi era.
The world of collecting means of transport is not new to this kind of “reuse”, in fact, for example, several prestigious cars of great historical value have been the subject of a refurbishment, we can mention the case of a Cisitalia mod. 202 which in Piacenza was converted into a bread van through the application of side bulkheads, in this period it will unfortunately also affect some bicycles. The top tube was removed from the frame and then placed parallel to the down tube so as to form the women’s frame, but luck would have it that in the transformation “the murderer” left the saddle pipe intact so that he could intervene during the rebirth of this bike.
The bike is equipped with 36/36 hubs, narrow road racing rims, Bowden brakes, Bianchi chainring, Bianchi inner center pedals, 4-piece wooden wedge-shaped fenders (original front tip) and supplied with rods and brackets originals.
